 Deer Me Indians believe that we all have a Spiritual as well as a Physical
existence......hence the symbol above the Deer. They believe animals
have a Spirit as well. Before 1840, North America had from 30 to 70 Million Buffalo, the majority inhabiting our Western Plains. Around 1840, the 'Europeans' began to arrive in mass. By 1889, the Buffalo were estimated to be less than 1000. Man is the only species that kills for sport. Which animal will be next? |
